Early learning centre cleaning in Bendigo
We clean early learning centres, kindergartens, long day care and outside school hours care services across Bendigo and central Victoria.
Every cleaner is our own employee, holds a Working With Children Check, and works when there are no children on site.
Cleaning you can show an assessor
Under the National Regulations, the approved provider is responsible for ensuring the premises, furniture and equipment are safe, clean and in good repair. Assessors don’t take your word for it, and they don’t judge it by whether the centre looks tidy on the day.
They look for evidence: what was cleaned, how often, with what, and by whom.
We keep records. The scope and frequency are agreed and written down, the products used are recorded, and attendances are signed off — through your own system where you have one, or through our staff attendance records.
If you need a history of attendances, ask us and we’ll send it.
This is usually why centres stop trying to manage cleaning with a directly hired individual. One person with a mop leaves you holding the compliance burden yourself, with nothing to produce when someone asks.
When something goes through the centre
Gastro moves fast in a room full of under-fives, and by the time you know about it the cleaning is urgent rather than scheduled.
We respond. Outbreak cleans, additional attendances and a shift in frequency while it works its way through. Call us and we’ll tell you straight away what we can get to you and when, because a centre in the middle of an outbreak needs an answer, not a callback.
Routine work is built around infection control anyway: high-touch surfaces, bathrooms and nappy change areas, sleep rooms, and the shared equipment that moves between children all day.
Who cleans what
In most centres your educators clean as they go. Tables after meals, spills, nappy change areas between children, toys as they’re put away. That’s how it should work, and we don’t get in the way of it.
Our job is the centre-wide clean: floors throughout, bathrooms, kitchen, staff areas, corridors and entries, and the periodic work that doesn’t fit into a room routine — carpets, hard floors, high dusting and windows.
We’ll agree the boundary with you in writing, so nothing is assumed by either side and nothing falls between the two.
Working to a real budget
In most centres cleaning is the second largest expense after wages. We know that, and we don’t pretend otherwise.
So we’ll tell you honestly what a given budget covers, where we’d prioritise it, and what we’d do differently if there were more. If enrolments shift or the budget changes, the scope can change with it rather than being locked in for a year.
Annual costs can be averaged across twelve months so the invoice is the same amount every time, which makes the line easier to forecast.

Common questions
Do your cleaners work while children are present?
No. Early learning centres are cleaned outside operating hours.
What records do you keep?
Agreed scope and frequency, products used, and attendance sign-off — through your system or our own staff attendance records. If you need a history of attendances, email us and we’ll provide it.
Can you respond to a gastro outbreak?
Yes. We arrange additional attendances and adjust frequency while an outbreak works through the centre.
Do you replace what our educators do day to day?
No. Educators clean as they go; we do the centre-wide clean. We agree the boundary with you in writing so nothing falls between the two.
How is it invoiced?
Annual costs can be averaged across twelve months, so the invoice is the same every month.
Do you clean kindergartens and outside school hours care?
Yes — kindergartens, long day care, early learning services and OSHC across Bendigo and central Victoria.
Do you supply consumables?
By agreement. If you’d rather not manage soap, paper towel and bin liners yourself, we can supply them at additional cost.
