About The Bendigo Cleaning Company
We’ve cleaned central Victorian businesses since 2003. Today we’re Bendigo’s largest cleaning company, with more than 80 local staff looking after more than 160 client sites.
How we got here
The business started in 2003 as Bendigo Property Services, cleaning local offices and commercial sites. In December 2016 it became The Bendigo Cleaning Company, a name that said plainly what we do and where we do it.
What hasn’t changed is how the work gets done: our own employees, trained by us, supervised by us, living in the towns where they work.
Why size matters
More than 80 cleaning staff, technicians, supervisors and administrators, based in Bendigo.
That size is why we can cover someone who’s away without you noticing, put a crew on a large site or a big event, and keep a consistent standard across more than 160 sites. A one-person operation can’t do that, and neither can a national company running Bendigo from Melbourne.
Local, and specifically so
Our management team is in Bendigo. Our staff live in the towns where they work. We buy from local suppliers, and we back local organisations.
We’re members of Be.Bendigo, the local business chamber, and of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association. We’re a corporate partner of the Kinaway Chamber of Commerce, Victoria’s Aboriginal chamber of commerce.
Recognition
We hold Department of Education Cleaning Panel Status #168, and we were one of the first regional cleaning companies in Victoria to be awarded it.
